The heart of our program is free one-to-one assistance with provincial and federal disability benefits.
We provide an expert and respectful advocacy service. Our advocates are highly experienced in helping people with disabilities to apply for benefits or appeal the denial of benefits. We know which questions to ask, who to contact and which supporting documents are most important.

Is your organization interested in learning more about provincial and federal (Canada Pension Plan) disability income supports and health benefits?
Please contact Jane Dyson at jwd@bccpd.bc.ca to arrange a workshop. Our advocates would be happy to come to your office or we can host a workshop at the BCCPD.
Our workshops are free of charge and can be tailored to your needs.
In Memory
Advocacy Access lost two of our own in March/12. Violet Puskas, a gentle, kind woman who volunteered in our office, is no longer with us. She is very much missed by us all. Thank you Violet for everything you did for the BCCPD and our clients. Rest In Peace.
Our good friend and former advocate Ginger Richards also passed away. We will all miss you so much Ginger. You cared deeply for people, you loved Canada and you brought joy and hope to us all. We are all much better people for having had the privilege of knowing you.
We acknowledge the financial support of the Province of British Columbia.
Our 2012 CPP Series guides are now available in English, Punjabi and Traditional Chinese.
