We host two free legal clinics every week for people with disabilities who need legal advice on civil law issues. This is made possible through our community partner, Access Pro Bono Society.
Advocates conduct workshops across the province to share information on provincial and federal disability benefits, advocacy and to teach self-help skills.
Is your organization interested in learning more about provincial and federal (Canada Pension Plan) disability income supports and health benefits?
Please contact Jane Dyson at jwd@bccpd.bc.ca to arrange a workshop. Our advocates would be happy to come to your office or we can host a workshop at the BCCPD.
Our workshops are free of charge and can be tailored to your needs.
Because of the large number of people who contact us for assistance, we cannot accept walk in clients for the legal clinics or the social worker. Please call us to make an appointment.
